How to Become a Member
The Pere Marquette Watershed Council is funded entirely by donations, grants and membership dues. It is only with ongoing funding that the Council can meet our mission statement:
To preserve, protect and enhance the
inherent natural values of the
Pere Marquette River Watershed
through the gathering and dissemination
of information and by working with any
organization or agency for the
accomplishment of mutual objectives.
The Pere Marquette Watershed Council completes work in the watershed based, as is possible, based on the donations and grants we are able to receive as well as monies form membership dues. The economic times has slowed grant funding so the amount of work we may be able to accomplish over the next few years may be limited.
Your help is needed. Please support PMWC by becoming a member today. Yearly Membership is only $40.00/person with Lifetime Membership given for a one-time donation of $500.00.
Members receive the quarterly newsletter the Mainstream which reports up-to-date news relating to the Watershed as well as the Council’s ongoing projects and activities.
PMWC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization
Contributions are tax deductible within the limits of federal tax regulations.
